Frequently Asked Questions

What is AxisLink?

AxisLink is a connected protection technology platform designed to support court-directed protective-order programs. It is being developed to combine proximity awareness, configurable alert pathways, and optional monitoring support to help provide earlier awareness when a court-defined safety boundary may be at risk.

AxisLink is intended for use within authorized programs involving courts, justice-system partners, monitoring organizations, survivor advocacy organizations, public-safety partners, and other approved stakeholders. Product availability and use requirements may vary by program and jurisdiction.

No. AxisLink is intended to complement protective orders by adding a technology-supported layer of proximity awareness. It does not replace court orders, legal counsel, survivor advocacy, individualized safety planning, or emergency services.

AxisLink is designed to identify when a restricted participant approaches a court-defined proximity boundary around a protected participant or designated location. Depending on program configuration, the system may provide alerts before direct contact occurs.

AxisLink is being developed with a privacy-conscious approach. The system is intended to alert a restricted participant when they are approaching a prohibited boundary without disclosing the protected participant’s specific location.

Response and notification procedures depend on the final program configuration, participating partners, system status, and applicable protocols. AxisLink is not an emergency service and should not be relied upon as a substitute for calling 911 in an emergency.

Depending on program configuration, AxisLink may provide an alert to appropriate participants when a boundary is approached. If the event continues beyond established thresholds, configured notification or monitoring workflows may be initiated for authorized partners.

AxisLink may support optional notifications to designated contacts where enabled by program configuration and appropriate permissions. Availability and timing may vary by program and system conditions.

AxisLink is intended to be implemented through authorized programs and partners. Contact the AxisLink team to discuss partnership opportunities, program information, or availability in your area.
